Scary stuff. I had a 30 ft sea ray that had a leak from the fiberglass exhaust box. Found out the hard way when my niece got sick.

When Lyman Lures was selling off stock before closing, I talked to a couple guys who told me a similar story about trolling the lake while sitting back near the transom on a calm day. Both of them had to go to hospital.

CO is lighter than air, so it dissipates very quickly in an open area. Not much detail in the story, but makes me wonder how it happened.

CO is the same weight as N2 which is the majority component of air. 12+16=28. 14+14=28
