Hhhhmmmmmm. A family cruiser and a good fishing boat. You Sir have your work cut out for ya. <img src=icon_smile_8ball.gif border=0 align=middle>
I think someone is going to have to compromise on something in that size range.
Is this boat going to be trailered?. If so then your quest has probably increased a tenfold.
What is the priority?. Cruising or fishing?. Are there Kids involved?.
Command bridges make nice cruisers - ok fishers. Catch allot of wind, have a high freeboard and lack maneuverability...But Mama would be Happy. Might be a tad difficult to trailer, but not imposable.
An express type cruiser would cut down on the wind issue and would be easier to trailer as well. Generally though they start to 'give' on the comforts of home when compared to the aforementioned.
You could consider looking at pilothouse sportfishers and see if she could live with that. Skagit Orcas come to mind. Don't know a thing about them though. Should be some out there that are of the age your looking for.
Just an initial thought. I'll give it some more consideration.
Some like it rough...
Others just puke!.
