Did I tell you guys about the Great Deal I got at Berrys last time?

The deal was 'bring in a broken fishing rod and we'll sell you as new one for only $17.99!'

So I did the deal, got home and found out the Daiwa mooching rod they sold me retails everywhere else for $15.99.

That's how they treat a customer of at least 30 years.

Berry's rarely has the best prices, but they do have a great selection of hard to find items. They are also the most reliable local retailer for high quality bait, especially large size herring for bottom fishing. They do have the odd good deals on higher price reels in their spring and fathers day sales, so its worth seeing what might be on special.

Barry's has always been reliable and did a bang up job on fixing my rods. Can't even tell which eyes were replaced. He even matched the damn "pin striping" in the wrap.
