Dr. Hooks Ray Sawyer, dead at age 84.
Dr Hook NEVER Recorded "Living Next Door To Alice" Reference the band members interviews and you will find that they never recorded this song. There s a false reference to the Dr Hook song on U-Tube but it is Smokie singing the song (NOT Dr Hook) ...Someone falsly put Dr Hooks name on it. The Band members of Dr Hook said they never recorder that song and Smokie recorded it in the Dr Hook fashion and that is where the confusion is coming from. Sorry everybody but Smokie is the only group to record it in the Dr Hook fashion. It is NOT on any albums nor singles from Dr Hook.
