A commercial fisherman has been fined a total of 10,000$ in Campbell River Court. Don'tknow what the offenses were but he was fined 4500$ for one of the offences. Hopefully it will be in the press next week.

We have a repeat offender in the Lower mainland who works at freds custom tackle. His next court date is july 15. Hopefully they throw the book at him as this is his second offense in a year. Hard to support a business that employs convicted poachers....

E3219-1 1 04-Jun-2016 SFR - 63 prohibited method/gear/bait used during close time Commit MANSELL, BRODY Tyler Penticton BC

His first conviction was chucking bait during closed times for super endangered interior fall steelhead. He's lucky the COs got him and not other people...

I wonder what the fine or outcome was of Brody Mansells court appearance was today? Second offense in a year and obviously no regard for rules or regulations hopefully he loses his license for a couple years!

Kodial kidd mansell from instagram that kid catches alot of fish .. Not a good look on freds for employing him .

Working in the tackle industry you should be more than well aware of the regulations of the waters you are fishing.
Fishing closed waters with bait for endangered species just to get a pic for your Instagram account is not ok.
