Aluminum Boats Weeping

I was looking around for a 12 aluminum boat (still looking) and one of the responses I got from a seller was that " the boat has no leaks
but weeps like all aluminum boats do" - stating that sponging it down once in a while was sufficient. Is the seller correct about the weeping part or is this just a sales pitch.
I can imagine that if there is a big temp. difference between water and air that this may cause condensation.
Any thoughts as I have never heard anybody mention it.

My aluminum boat never had a problem with weeping. It only got wet inside when it rained or when I was pulling traps. After 18 years some of the rivets started to leak so I repaired them and it was watertight again.I'm not sure that I'd buy the story about weeping.
Actually,a bit of leakage won't hurt anything unless the water really pours in.

I think Pennell got it right.... condensation.
