Dear Editor,
To all commercial sport fishing guides, commercial fishers, sports fishermen, and businesses in Ucluelet... Most of us are aware that the Thornton Creek Hatchery and salmon enhancement are chronically underfunded by the federal government.
Probably all businesses and individuals who live in Ucluelet and those non-residents who fish out of Ucluelet benefit enormously directly or indirectly from Pacific Salmon.
My family and I challenge all these users of the salmon resource to donate up to or better our donation of $1,000.
