Nope - Unfortunately NOT a joke.
For Real. Thought it must be "fake news" at first as it is so bloody shocking...

Trudeau and Goodale have quietly conspired to "repatriate" over sixty confirmed ISIS fighters back into Canada.
And they intend to do the same with more...

When questioned, Trudeau suggests that their new terrorist day care facilities (aka the Canadian Center for Community Engagement and Prevention of Violence) will spur their "disengagement from violent ideologies".

And Goodale cannot control his anger when replying as if it was none of our business just who, and how many terrorists we let in:

It would seem to me that Trudeau and his party have crossed a line that is rather serious in this matter.

Self explanatory to me but who knows what will happen with that retard in charge.
Realistically they should be hunted down by CSIS and eliminated like the vermin they are.

Outrageous. I demand to know where they live. We all have a right to know who they are. Just like they advise when a sex offender moves into a particular area. Next move has to be; they lied on their immigration application, if they’re immigrants, I believe they’re asked if they support terrorism. If they answered ‘no’, then you’re back to wherever you Wence came. It’s not that complicated. There has to be consequences. I’m all for immigration. We’re all immigrants pretty much. But hell this is going to play right into “Trumps America First” bs. A very slippery slope we’re on.

Trudeau lost me when he quietly gave 10 million of our tax payers money to a terrorist fighter then to add further insult it recently was disclosed that he also gave three others a total of 30 million taxpayer dollars. When will this insanity stop? But I guess the precedent has now been set. 10 million per greivance. At least we know what the starting point for the First Nations Residential School survivors will be.

How much will the families of those innocent people who were beheaded or shot be getting in compensation?

An Algerian guy has filed a law suit now (for $10M I believe) against the Canadian government. He said if he hadn't seen the news article about Kadhr , he'd have no idea how to do it. He too was held in Guantanamo for ISIS activity. He tried to seek political asylum in Montreal but after 5 years he was sent back to Algeria. Now an Edmonton lawyer is helping him with his case because he claims the Canadian Gov provided the US with information on him. What the fuck is wrong with us providing information to other jurisdictions about people who want to kill us? I don't care what law was passed to prohibit that, change it. This guy is not Canadian, but, I suspect he'll be paid out at some point by you/us Canadian tax payers. There are going to be many more.

There has to be consiquences, more than being put on a watch list for the fighters that went on what is being called a "holliday" to fight with these millitant groups. The least the Govt. should do is never allow them back into Canada and they should have to face the courts of the countries they fought in.

While I believe we have a responsibility to accept some bonafide refugees fleeing violence, these people are not in that category. Will Trudeau and Goodale provide them with a "settlement" to compensate them for the experiences they "suffered" being Canadian that drove them to kill? At the very least I'm sure they will be provided all their living needs while they become "disengaged from their violent ideologies" and beyond. Sounds like it will be expensive for the Canadian taxpayer, we will just have 60 potential terrorists free, more likely spreading their ideology than becoming disengaged.

You can snicker at Trumps crass personality, or take an elitist POV in that he doesnt act "Presidential" but ask yourself something, when looking at what he does, do you think it seems apparent that he actually has Americans interests first? I ignore the media, and focus on his actions and its blatantly obvious that he does put Americans first and takes bags of shit doing so, hell he doesnt even get paid! Look at what he does and compare it to the latest batch of Progressive Liberal leaders we have had around the world in the past few years, which time and time again seem all to eager to sell out their citizens for their own ideology.

When people learn that we all want tolerance, a fair shot and a peaceful society, but thats in no way tied to leftist ideology, we have a chance.

But keep voting these Socialists/Commies in and our kids will look back at us and wonder just what we were thinking.

Im proud of Canada and Im a good man, I dont need empty gestures of trying to "de-radicalize" these complete F-ups to sleep well at night, actually id sleep better if their flight home ate the Atlantic ocean.

We could do with a little bit of a Canadian version of Trump at this point. The ideas are good, its just the delivery thats off..

As bad as this decision on these 60 ISIS fighters is, it is no reason to EVER have a Canadian version of the most ignorant leader to perhaps ever lead a western power. From his obvious ties and collusion with Russia (that go back to the 70's in the Soviet Union) to his support for white supremacists and scapegoating of US problems on anyone who isn't white to a complete inability to almost ever tell the truth. As a Canadian currently living in the US I do hold some pride that Canada is a much different place in terms of tolerance for for other races, religions and ideas. While not perfect in the North, as we see by the Government actions outlined in this thread, its so much better than here.

Should have been hunted down and shot in-country before being allowed back. This is why we have people like JTF2...over there we could make use of other countries' better funded intel. Here at home it's CSIS, sort of, who don't have anything like the funding to keep tabs on 60 guys, and the RCMP, who at best still need to play by Canadian rules.

If we'd done what every other western country does and hunted them while they were in ISIS territory, we could have used local intel, coordinated with the Americans, British, Australians, Kiwis, etc etc etc etc etc, found them using combined resources, shot them, and left them there.

I can't say for sure that things would have been different under the last government but this is so painfully embarrassing and it fits so perfectly with the idiotic sunshine, fancy socks and blank stares approach of the kid that inherited power in this country that it's hard for him not to wear it.
