300hp verado outboard oil pressure

Hi, Ive got a 2016 300hp verado engine with an oil pressure at 60 psi at idle. I thought it was too much oil and drained some out and still at 60 psi. Any suggestions?

it might be normal, the way it looks on my digital instrument makes it look like its in the red

Phone a merc dealer. A very expensive motor to screw around with.

Hate to say it but hopefully it's just a pump or regulator issue and not a spun bearing. I would change the oil pressure sensor to start. Good luck

mine is at 54 psi at idle. 1071 hours on engine
