Post your 2019 fishing reports here!
Can anyone tell me when is the peak run of sockeye up the inlet and does anyone know the estimates for this year. Thanks
I find the sockeye fishing best about a week into July. I haven't heard anything yet on the estimates for 2019 though.
2015 was stellar for us...
Lets hope this is true for SSS. Says Somass is average to above average for 2019.
With the bad news from yesterday is there some good news for the Alberni inlet ? Is it remaining open ?The dfo map I saw was vague to my answer and the App is not updated
Alberni will be fine.
The inshore areas are not effected by the new regulations. Boundaries really are quite clear on the DFO site. Offshore areas along WCVI all start with the number 1
All good on the inside there Wolfie!! Hope you're getting in a bunch of fishing after a busy time with line 3
Any idea what kind of sockeye return alberni is expecting this summer?
Saw on the news port Alberni is expecting a record number of chinook this year and fishermen.
Might get crowded.
Anybody know a guy that tows 15000 lb boats?
Robertson “predicting” 130k alone...
Book your place early!
Where's your spirit of adventure?
I guess I have the boat for it now .
My buddy gets his 28' Lifetimer (10,000lbs?) towed to and from Nanaimo/Alberni every year. $500 one way I think. Plus he needs to be there to load/unload.
Actually you probably won't be allowed to run around with all the SKRW quiet zones! Lol!
I do. I’ll pm you his number
