No luck earlier this month…although down a kicker motor now. Was end of last April I caught 4 teeners off neck point in one hour. Hopefully get a hot run again.

trolled around for a couple hours today out offshore neck pt couldn't keep those damn hake/cod off. no salmon action. cruised by sculpin as they were leaving the ramp maybe he'll have something to report.

Chevyhaulsass, then damn ugly fish were stealing all my bait too, must be the herring bringing them with abundance

First of the season. On the inside near decourcy homeland

Bonked a 29" off the fingers. 75 feet on the down rigger on a 4" cookies and cream behind a green flasher of some kind

How have people been finding prawning?

We just pulled out first set and only had 15 over four traps. Same spot last year had 400-600. I'm hoping it was just a bad set but am curious if others have found it a poor start.

Pulled 4 prawn traps today and only had one prawn between them all. Traps work awesome and i know they are not the problem. Hope it picks up soon.

Set 2 traps in a past performing hole. 1 prawn.
Set 1 trap in a location nearby, 25ish prawns, all unberried females.

No legal salmon.

Slow beautiful day with great company.

As Prawns change sex as they mature...how do you tell if it's a female if there are no eggs?

4 traps for 1 set yesterday and zero prawns, going to try again tomorrow.

8 traps by entrance island 50 prawns on Saturday, last month 2 traps in the same area and got 150 prawns
