110 volt receptacle

I’d like to have a 110V receptacle installed inside my CC boat.
I’ve got a regular (no galvanic isolator) shore power plug that connects directly to my battery charger.
Can I just splice in a regular receptacle or must it be a GFI plug or what?
Thx!

it is a 120 volt system. guarantees 117 volts at any of your devices. Hasn't been 110 for many decades.
Does the galvanic isolater help with any problems that the battery charger may encounter?
I think your marina is all GFI already.

Don't be so sure about that. Our marina was redone a couple years back. New everything. Came back to slip and found the shore power female plug in the water. Someone had kicked it in by accident. When I pulled it out of the water it was still hot. I would have assumed everything was protected. NOT so.
