My little kicker had a screeching sound coming from the midsection.I pulled the waterpump and the small housing below it that houses a double lipseal.Once that lower pump housing comes off ..pull the driveshaft out and check that[KOYO #6002 ] bearing snap-ringed to the shaft.Mine was HOOPED,DRY and Rusty.Nice and quiet once again!
