So...answering my own query... Make sure you check what is open and what is not...upper Somass Park 150 above the island and 150 below...some fish but 2-3 days of netting by the bands has not helped...they did not net today so might be bettor on Thurs...meeting of the group tomorrow to decide...

Anyone done any fishing in the open area up the Somass?

Bonanza Resort on Horse Lake might work...should be sedges about...give Dora or Bruno a call...great people with an excellent Resort.

good post SpringFever552....seems odd to me that previous posts infer the importance of sharing and supporting people in their beach fishing endeavours...now suddenly "the no info wall goes up"...simple call to DFO or map checking clearing indicates the "secret". Come-on....can't be open then...
