Been out a few times lately, had some luck around Fingers earlier in the week but last couple days it dried right up for me. Seeing a few boats a mile or so offshore from fingers, how are they doing out there? Anyone?

Aaaandd....they also add that opening for Jan/feb/March is in question since they want to assess spawn, but they will open for commies by May o1. Ling will also close oct 1. The only thing rec fishers will be able to target is crabs. Area 17 anyway..

Just a heads up...there’s a nasty deadhead bobbing around out there. It’s been travelling back and forth with the tide for the last few days seen around east end of Jesse Island. Sticking only a few inches above the water, looks like the diameter of a telephone pole.
