Anyone know if the coho have showed up at French Creek breakwater yet?

I live in French Creek and was wondering if there is any fishing for pinks or coho you can do around there from the beach. Any help is welcomed.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on fly fishing or even spin casting for salmon off the beaches, I walked down Little Qualicum River today and did a bit of fly fishing, many pinks coming up with the occasional spring, but not much luck on the beach. Any tips?

Cool idea, but in rough water or fishing deep, it would be tough to recover your plug, since it could pop up a distance away

Like the title says, how far back should i be putting my hooks on my tomic plugs? Should the hook be as far back as possible? Thanks
