2005 Grady White 282 sailfish for sale

Yeah I hear you. I didn’t like towing my little boat with an old 3/4 ton. Tows much nicer w a 1 ton. I guess between the cut, alberni pass, coch and Malahat most should have a 1 ton but I’m just trying to help a guy sell a boat. We are way off topic.

    300k boat for 200k

It’s modelled after the sea runner which I loved. You will want suspension seats if it has the 300hp on her she should fly. Plywood floors are a pain as they do leak and the foam underneath gets wet, almost need a rear canvas cover for storage. There are a couple HC Pacific cruisers for sale...

13k towing capacity on the top Chevy 1500, that under what she would be loaded to the gills for tuna. I’ll re-phrase that, with new half tons with the max tow package.

Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Not sure if the old ones ride as well and “float” as well when swamped. Foam saturation and gas tank corrosion would be the biggest concern. I’d check uship and find someone already driving west with a free hitch that could bring yours out if the trailer is bullet proof.

Lots of nice upgrades. 9.6 beam and towable with most new half tons. So much room to fight fish, haul people and traps. One of the best hulls for BC.

He is saying Lithium, big price difference and should be in quality between a Starting lithium and a regular agm. Starting batteries should always list CCA and marine cold cranking amps if designed for marine, which I couldn't find for the renogy AGM. I have a few renogy products but I keep...

    Driving an EV pickup

Whoops, yes for Edison, no for most highway truck, I believe you need a hybrid or electrical system to store the power generated. Most commercial trucks don’t have an electric motor or storage battery, I did a quick check to see if the electric drive diesel haul trucks in mining have it and I...

Pretty clean boat but I don’t understand his starting batteries. I’m not sure these even exist “Renogy 100AH lithium starting batteries” I’d be concerned about the trailer being beefy enough and if it has EOH.

Lithium Batteries? School Me , marine/boat applications!

Likely but as you add draw, with more electronics or electric reels, or do two days of fishing without hooking to a charger, it will quickly become too small. I’d go for 100ah mini with a solar panel to keep charged if you aren’t going to add a blue seas add a battery kit and a dc to dc charger...

    Driving an EV pickup

It would be interesting to see Edison the BC company doing regen braking on logging trucks help spurn the roll out of regen braking on trucks crossing the Rockies, malahat, coquihalla and highway 4 every day.
