Fished the derby yesterday, and had a excellent day! Mostly stuck around the green can, landed two 12lbs springs, and a 23lb which got 5th place in the derby.

Yup you are looking at the right "green Can" the hump is basically west of that. You will see a lot of boats fishing these areas.
I would recommend using at least 15lb cannon balls, as the tide rips through the hump.

Great day yesterday, went out 6- 11:00 am. Took home 2, lost one at the side of the boat, and had to release a good one as I already had my two in the boat. Blue meanie and army trucks were working.

Got out yesterday, looked fairly slow out there. Started off at the green can without any luck, then moved over to the hump. Ended up bringing in two, 12 and 14lbs. Both caught on blue meanies.

Fished the green can for most of the day, lost a Coho at the boat. Moved over to some deeper water out by the hump caught 2 more wild Coho (kept 1) and a 15# spring. Fishing 200'
