Fished the hump today got into a nice 12-14lber at 180' using a 4"kitchen sink with a purple onion flasher. Got the fish at high slack other then that not a sniff.
Went and fished Tunsil yesterday. It was pretty snotty out first thing in the morning but turned out to be a beauty day. We caught 1 just undersized and had 2 fish on that felt pretty decent but lost them. We were marking tons of bait and that's where we got our bites. Talked to 2 boats out...
Went out yesterday fished Tunsil and grace islands with only one shaker to report. Went to pick up our prawn trap which was right off the island in between the east side of Bowen and lighthouse park and it had been stolen. There was another boat circling the same area as us looking for his trap...
Went out on sat. Fished the high slack at the mouth of the cap without a bite. Then went and dropped the prawn trap. We were planning on ripping over to the grace islands but it was too rough, so we fished the freighters instead for 5 or so hours. Right at low tide we got a fish on that peeled...

Was out today fishing the mouth of the cap. Got one keeper and one undersized right around high slack. Both hits were on a "no bananas" spoon with a glow purple onion flasher
Went out yesterday fished the midday tide as well at Tunsil bay. Fished there for 3 hours then trolled along the south side of Bowen with out a salmon hit all day. Was using spoons and hootchies. Caught and released a little ling in Tunsil but that was it while fishing in the fog.
