I bought the 10'6" earlier this year. I like it so much I didn't let my buddies touch it, even when 'fish on'. Good action, butt end comes out of the holder nicely and I didn't break it. These are just my standards for a good rod. I would buy another one.

Trim tabs make a big difference, with motor trimmed down as well boat presses though with less pounding. But it is still aluminum, they bounce. I use 10 and 12 year boys to shift the weight around when needed. " go sit in the cuddy "
