I just inherited a new to me jon boat and it comes with the above noted fish finder. transducer is an airmar p66. the power cord looks ROUGH. i would rather just get a new one if at all possible.

I’ve had this forever and i’m thinking of restoring it. it seems kinda flimsy and not great original quality. i think it could be a cool bottom fishing rig.
i have an older hali rod that i love but one of the eyes threads are in really tough shape. i wanna re -wrap it with new thread but what i’m not sure about is what kind of epoxy to use? any insight on this?
