Been off the water for the last 3 years after switching It up during Covid having swapped the boat for an RV but plan to get back on the water this summer.
The brother is planning his epic vacation too come fish the West Coast this summer and looking for the best weeks...

We picked up a teener about an hour ago but nothing since. Saw one other boat with a nice spring and one other with smaller fish.

We were out at SH between noon to 5 today only managed one wild Coho and one 61 cm spring. Can you believe it.
Very slow out there today 80 or so boats only saw Maybe half dozen boats with a fish on.
Got them both on white hoochies after no luck with bait.

Seems forecast is supposed to be bad south of Tsawwassen.
Says it's supposed to drop off to 10 to 20 around noon.

Only one day with any significant rain in it on my 14 day forecast and that's next Saturday. The rest are just low chance of showers days which often amount to nothing.

Lots of action out there today on the flood tide between noon and three then got quiet for about an hour and picked up again.
Saw lots of boats landing fish especially off the red can.
Just the one 15lb spring for us and lots of pinks.
Had a couple of double headers and a triple as well.

With forecasted building winds decided to come home early from Nanaimo after a great weekend at the blues festival.
Stopped off north of the T10 around 9 and immediately were into springs.
One 25-pounder and 15 pounder red and lost two others.
