We ended up with 5 springs this morning . All 15-20lb and one 27 . All on chovies 35-40ft . Mostly around Stamp narrows . Nothing after 7:30

Might have been a big cobo . Rolling and headshakes is their thing . Not much you can do , especially with a flasher . Steady pressure and hope for the best .

Cates gates came down this morning . Spoke with the by-law girl writing up some poor fellow . She said they are open and business as usual .No silly reservations or extra fees like Rocky Point

They are also doing a bunch of roadwork out front of the park . I think it suits the city to keep the launch and parking lot closed . You can walk on the pier with a bunch of strangers , but can't launch your boat
