Forgot to mention, fished 100 to 300 feet of water , was anywhere from 30 , to 100 feet on the riggers . Fished bait , and when no legal sized Spring cooperated , put on the small pink squid . Can't say we didn't try .

Guess the easy question would be , where can I fish and keep a Spring ?

No experience, but thought they came off the Thunder Jet line , I could be wrong.
