Fished Cowan today between 4 and 7. 1 hatchery in the cooler, 5 wild released, 1 spring released, lost another 3 or 4. White and Glow Hootchies between 45 and 65.

I love Egmont. Used to rent a cabin every year and go bottom fishing and oyster picking before the regs got so tight. Thinking of going the 1st week of August. Is it worth targeting salmon by then, or is everything pretty much done there?

Went to Cowan Point yesterday at 4PM and had a great time for 3 hours. Limit of hatchery Cohos, 6 or 7 wild ones released, 5 springs released. Glow hootchie with sparkles did the best on Cohos, most Springs on a yellow and green SkinnyG. Flashers were yellow and green with a red blob...

I think I'll try the naked fishing on Friday (I'm not a flasher either). Hope I don't forget my sunblock.

Love this thread. With all that motor I'd try the 21P. I would think you'd get close to 50MPH. And a decent cruise speed without winding out.
