Sadly the science does not support this approach. Another false sense of security.:(
Why do they wear them when treating patients then? South Korea and Japan have tamped down their spread faster than countries with no masks. Just noticing

Professionals have a strict mask protocol they follow.
Dr. Henry just covered the shortcomings of both the mask and general testing. 3 pm Wednesday - 1st and 3rd question from the press.

Truck full of toilet paper crashes, catches fire on Texas highway

Published April 1, 2020 5:24 p.m. ET

CTVNews - A tractor-trailer carrying a huge load of toilet paper crashed and caught fire after spilling its load on a highway near Dallas, Texas.

The 18-wheeler, which was said to be travelling from Alabama to San Antonio, crashed along Interstate 20 early Wednesday morning in the city of Hutchins, just southeast of Dallas.

Local media reported that the driver of the truck had allegedly fallen asleep behind the wheel.

The crash caused the tractor-trailer to catch fire, and police were forced to close all westbound lanes of the interstate for several hours.

The driver did not suffer any serious injuries.

The truck was carrying a cargo of industrial-sized rolls of toilet paper typically used in stores, restaurants and businesses.

The large rolls of toilet paper were strewn across the westbound lanes of the highway.

Texas transportation officials said some of the spilled cargo "burned extensively."

Toilet paper has become a hot commodity amid the COVID-19 pandemic, prompting shoppers around the world to panic-buy and hoard it in bulk.

If a vaccine isn't ready by fall it will ramp up again so likely only going to be a few months break. Likely quick isolation rules in the fall to keep it at a low ebb...if they learned their lessons.

Not a chance a vaccine will be ready by fall. Maybe February.

Get the younger bulletproof generation to follow the social distancing and self isolation rules.
I’ve seen so many younger folks just doing what they please with out giving a crap, for themselves and others.
Time to start enforcing the control measures with an iron fist.
This is a province running on emergency measures to save lives. Getting tired of the noncompliance.
Already had a few “chats “ with rule breakers from several meters away and all I get is a blank, empty look of stupidity.
Then a “Dont worry dude “it’s not that bad. Are they serious! It would be ok if they were part of the herd that got thinned, but unfortunately they will survive because of their age not mental capacity!

Rant over,back to self isolation...
Sorting out my fishing tackle!!

Regarding China’s lies about infection rates...

Deborah Birx, the State Department immunologist advising the White House on its response to the outbreak, said Tuesday that China's public reporting influenced assumptions elsewhere in the world about the nature of the virus.

"The medical community made -- interpreted the Chinese data as: This was serious, but smaller than anyone expected," she said at a news conference on Tuesday. "Because I think probably we were missing a significant amount of the data, now that what we see happened to Italy and see what happened to Spain."

China is not the only country with suspect public reporting. Western officials have pointed to Iran, Russia, Indonesia and especially North Korea, which has not reported a single case of the disease, as probable under-counts. Others including Saudi Arabia and Egypt may also be playing down their numbers.

Weird... this sounds just like all the old blue hairs I see while I am out in the public doing my essential service work! Maybe you guys don’t need to be going to the bank every Monday and visiting every hardware store in town.
