The Commanders seem sweet but the I/O seems like a huge down side. I don’t think I could own a boat that was not outboards or shaft drive. Seems like to many out drive horror stories.

Nice boats but hideously overpriced. You can build from scratch for a lot less than that on comparable hull designs with great builders.

Does it really? Not that I'm defending nor am I a boat builder but looks to me like the waterline is perfectly parallel to the roof line and the flattest section of the hull. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe you're wearing one shoe.

That is a nice clean Tyee. The 90 hp 4 stroke is nice but it is under powered for the 17 foot Tyee.

And still going to be a tough sell, I bet. I/O with a crowded cockpit on a boat that's univerally loved...by hardcore fishing enthusiasts who love outboard power. Will it have enough bells and whistles to interest the cruiser crowd?

200 Photos and none of the helm? Agreed tough sell and terrible photos. No radar, no rear steering/trolling station, no kicker.
