Well the weather finally co-operated so we were able to do a sea trial today. The boat is a rocket. At 3000 rpm we were brought up on full plane. At 4200 rpm with two people and 40gallons fuel, we did 20 knots. At 5200 we were doing 36 knots.

I'm so happy with the pod design. The hull waterline was bang on with the added buoyancy from the pod.

The 4500-4600 range got us 27 knots

According to http://www.pearsonmarine.ca/ its still for sale. Kind of a shame considering what a beautiful boat it is, but I guess you can get a lot of boat for 75k.
