How to tell if you are a Steel Head Bum!

Certain beliefs and behaviours identify if you might be a Steel Head Bum!
- If you spend more money chasing Steel Head than you like to admit too,
- If you have ever lost or quit a job because it interfered with chasing Steel Head,
- if you have more Steel Head rods than you can comfortably admit too,
- if you think that ambidextrous means that you fish for both summer and winter fish,
- if you own more breathable clothes than shoes,
- if you routinely blow off family events because your local flow has dropped into shape,
- if you have never seen a river that was not fishable in spite of colour or height,
- if routinely freeze both thumbs each winter, because you can't fish with gloves on,
- if you refuse to take a tropical vacation in the winter because you know the fish are due in any day,
- if you have ever driven for 18 hours at the start of a weekend to give yourself 4 hours fishing time on a river that may drop into shape,
- if polite talk at a cocktail gathering always dissolves into a fight about Hatchery vs wild,

Then you might be a Steel Head Bum!
If you hit 5 of these markers you are a steel Head Bum , so enjoy it!
