Mainboard Meeting Feb 13-15, 2020

South Coast SFAB March 28-29, 2020

I could not make it as it would cost to travel to the island is expensive. That being said what happened?

What is going on with the salmon allocation policy?

What's going on for next year? can i book a trip in june and be able to retain chinook off WCVI?

IS everyone going to be shocked in May again next year?

It's never going to be better than last year

I would expect the same sort of closures as we saw in 2019.
with the press given to the Fraser canyon rock slide, it could even get worse

There are a lot of issues yet again this year. We face pretty much the same challenges - SRKW, Fraser Chinook, Big Bar Slide, Interior Fraser Steelhead, MPA's to name a few. To expect we will return to the land of milk and honey is sadly delusional. These issues are here for a while. Not to say we give up and take up knitting. I think there are positive win/win solutions to some of these issues (MSF for starters). Everyone needs to be engaged. Start by attending your local SFAC groups, and making sure your local Chambers and Governments are well aware of the social and economic impacts.

The SFAB is press hard for early input into Chinook Management, and solutions such as MSF. Keep the faith.
