New in box islander Pacific steelheader gold

I recently came into this reel from my grandpa and was wondering how much it Is worth These days. It's 100% new no scratches, never used and comes with matching box and blue neoprene case. Most likely would never sell as it is a momento to me but you never know!

Think it retails around 450 cad.
Nice reels. I was so used to my jw seldex 2 when i went to the islander i kept wackin my knuckles. So i went back to my seldex.

I think they only made them for 1-2 years then moved to the Steelheader model ? New with box and bag i would think around that or more, is there a production number on it ? My buddy still has his and it fishes as good as the day he bought it. Call Islander they will know more.. Nice reel and collectors item !!

Thanks! The number on it is 884. So I guess they pumped a lot out in that year! Any idea the year they were made? I have a feeling it was around 2004 from what he said but not sure.
