Bead chains

Are bead chains meant for lures or can you use them on the flasher? Meaning cutting the swivel off and putting the duo lock through the top of the flasher to bead chain.

Im running duo locks on my main line to flasher no bead chain yet

I thought as much. A good ball bearing swivel would be the best. Reason im using duolock is so i can tie a palomar knot without wasting a bunch of line. Yes ive actually tied a palomar around an entire flasher lol

why even tie mainline direct to the flasher.
just put on a bead, golf tee (wedding band) or gummy plug first.
tie on a small costal lok swivel or swivel then put on a snap ..
there your done. and can change out to your hearts content.

Yup, just like that. Protects your main line from the curly-cues too.

ball bearing swivel preferred? I cant believe I didn't do this earlier some tackle stores are outrageously overpriced wanting 18$ for a bag of bead chains 18$ duolock snaps. definitely will buy a few nice coastal lock swivels but got all my rods tied to a duolock but will throw in a ball bearing in next. 25lbs top shot cant stand up without the extra swivel but the 30 lbs is standing up well.

Buy quality flashers with ball bearing swivels and never look back!
