Ill show you mine if you show me yours... fuel burn numbers.

50 miles running to and around and back from big bank, 2 miles at 7 mph in the speed limit zone, 5 hours at 3mph trolling: used 43 liters. flat day.
17 foot boat and a 50hp 4s merc.

Arima 21 SR. 150 HP Suzuki - 3.3 - 4.0 MPG ~20 knot, depending on conditions.

7000 lb Donzi with at 300 yammie. 11.7 gal an hour at 30. The boat is a Grady lookalike because Grady bought the design from Donzi in the 90’s for the 23 ft seafarer
I think Grady started building the Seafarer in 1980.

I'd love to be atound 22-24 feet. Small cuddy, big dance floor, cruise around 25 knots and get clost to 4 nm/gal. Wounder if its possible if i keep the weight down.

One of the reasons i havent jumped on a big glass boat.

These are very close to my numbers, except there's no way I'm getting 4mpg. I can get 3.4mpg at 25mph though, which is pretty good. These are statute miles per US gallon to be clear. 22 (24 with pod) Raider aluminum with 4.2L yammy F250. Weight is 4500-5000lb depending on load.

I get between 2.8-3mpg if I'm not in big swell. Statute miles and usg. Hewescraft ocean pro 220 with Yamaha f200 3.3l V6 motor. Fully loaded with fuel and all gear she clocks in around 6000lbs.

That's better than us. 23 foot Donzi f23 walkaround with a 300hp verado burning 14.5 gph at 30mph cruise. Not sure what ours weighs but I know its heavy

I never worked it out in MPG before but I guess it's around 1.8-2 doing 27-30 MPH at 3200 rpm. But that's in a 15000 lb boat with as much **** as you could ever need and as many friends as you'd ever want on board. Plus I'm only paying $1.30-$1.40 per liter for the diesel. I'm told dropping it down to 22 MPH at 2800 rpm would be more efficient but that's just lame.

28 Albemarle, single Kad300 285 hp Volvo with stern drive. Am guessing about 12000 lbs loaded.
10 us gals per hour @ 20 knots cruise.
If my math is correct ...around 2.7 mpg imperial

Campion 622 with Yamaha F200 V6. Calm seas at 26mph nets 3.1mpg. Choppy seas at 18mph nets 2.3mpg.
All numbers are imperial, 5300lbs with 2 to 3 people on board as well as all gear for an overnight fishing trip.
Overall a very economical rig, which is why I still haven't jumped up to a bigger one!
