Entered the chinook classic. Next weekend. Bet will be busy out there. If u see a red flag on a boat fighting a fish. That fish might be worth 15 grand. If it is a 21 ft trophy. Stay away! Anyone else feel free to run the fish over. Haha. Just saying. Anyone else here enter?

Well ****, one of those unicorn days out there at Sandheads. Beauty calm, 14# and 17# in an hour flat, won an epic battle with a seal for the 17! Off the pack in 300’. Riggers at 60, took the chovy over the herring both times. Green flasher. Good luck!

Dropped in at the bell buoy at 630am. Trolled out towards the QA and then south zigging and zagging. Stayed away from the big herd of boats. Ended up with a 20 and 27. Both on 7” herring, one with a UV flash and one Glow flash, hot depths were 44 and 55. Had close to 20 hookups, 8 or 9 were strong springs, several grillse and some leaping coho that spat hooks. Overall a fantastic day on the water. Get out and enjoy it!

Amazing day, damn near flat calm and limited by 7am for three of us. 19-25-27 all reds. This cant be vancouver???

Definitely a bit of a gong show. Lots of boats with hook ups all around and lots of people not paying attention and giving way to people who have hooked up... but to be fair, you were surrounded by them...

Going to be like this until September or what?! Lol.

Great morning at North Arm. Ended the day on a double header during a turn. 14, 15, and 22 pound Chinooks. Lost a few at the boat too due to some unforced errors.
All but one caught on anchovy. The other on a white hootchie. 60 feet was the magic number and in closer about 200 feet deep. Gotta say pretty decent crowd out there. Everyone was very courteous.

Funny story. 2 of us were in the cabin looking forward when a guy in the boat in front of us stands up and points at us and is laughing. I said what the hell is wrong with him! So I look back and see that our Port Rod has popped off and the line is already 90 degrees to the boat! (Guy watching the Rod was on his cell phone ha ha.) anyway that was our 22 pounder. So thanks stand up, laughing, pointy guy!

Started trolling at QA towards sandheads. Never made it that far before our 2. A 14 and 16 both red. One hatch coho as well. Choviess at 65 worked for us. Amazing fishing
