How is the Bell this morning? That north wind making it a mess?

The cams look great but a quick word from people out there would be ideal...

Went out at about 6am water was calm no luck until after the low tide at around 1pm. tried fishing the 200ft shelf at gower and got all tangled up and lost another cannon ball I hate braid on downriggers. they came like that so I will be switching to cable. well at 1pm lost all my teaser heads and down to one rod I trolled to salmon rock. Big take on cookies and cream spoon at 100' and I think this is close to a 25lbs spring?
Ya some guys use cable for Sockeye and dragging over the bottom, as braid can't handle the abrasion.
However you will have to change your cable regulary and when a steel jagger goes into your hand you won't like it.

Anyone scrubbed North Arm or T10 recently? Going to take the old man out Tuesday for a fish, debating the run down to Sandheads.

I just came off the straits off an epic day but no keepers. Started at 7 am off sarah point across from savary. Couple of shakers that's it then I made my way to the pilings off texada. 1 more shaker and off to upwood and then Epsom more shakers. Normally I'd say its me but I only heard of one 22 lb being bonked up around the desolation side of sarah pt the day before. It was picked up just as I set gear then I look over and bam whales.

I headed north and nothing.

I'm going to be trolling first light from Robert's creek to salmon rock, down a downrigger Somehow the power button literally snapped off my 2106. My guess is this wont be warranty blah..hope it can be fixed as the entire lower case will have to be replaced. Stacking gear solo is just not my thang.

Point of this is the fish are headed to town as you all have found out! Nice work, guys.

The area where everyone is fishing is 29-3 and 29-4. The boundaries you've noted above are a lot closer in that what it appears to be on the map.

Thanks for clearing that up! I see now that 29-9 and 29-10 are basically all the low lying marshy areas. Amazing how far out in the straight they go.

Sorry to add to the confusion!
