2019 Silva Bay Derby (better late than never)

Due to no Chinook retention until July 15, the 31st annual Silva Bay Derby has been rescheduled to July 20 & 21. With the usual list of prize contributors, it's looking like another great derby. This is a great fund raiser for the Nanaimo River Hatchery.

For those who have ventured out (for some catch and release), you know what a fantastic season we're having which looks to continue well into July again.

hope everyone reads the newest DFO regs. for July 15 to July 31 in area 17 will definitely effect the derby (latest report issued July 12) max size 80cm

What would the rules be considering the slot limit?

organizers have not made any comment ,least not on this forum

I spoke to one of the organizers and rules are the same, with an additional $500 prize for 2 day accumulative weight.
