Lotsa closures there too I know one charter guy who couldn't fish Springs all season-he posts on Alan Tani's site.

I heard Rodgers had real issues on the east side of the island. Are those issues also going on at the Tahsis location?

They cancelled quite a few trips as i had several folks call or e mail me looking to book a trip 2-3 weeks out for August and early Sept after they got the news

THANK YOU to everyone for the input!! We ruled out AK because I've done that a number of times and would like to fish our own boat. And like the sounds of an adventure hulling North. I'm packing for a Midwest deer hunt right now, we plan to meet up for some beers in early November and narrow things down. Right now we're looking hard at Winter Harbor, Tofino, Nootka Sound with Port Hardy and Thasis still on the list.
