@Admin can we get this thread cleaned up? Seems like this is going off the rails with little hope in any civil discourse.

It’s a little bit of back and forth.

I don’t see any hateful, personal attacks. How about you just ignore the thread and let whoever wants to participate keep doing so.

What is it with you guys? Always trying to impose your will on others? If you don’t like it, tune out dude.

Anyone who has conviction in their beliefs, doesn’t care about having them questioned in public.

So unless your worried that your opinion has no factual merits, then move along.

By Julie Gordon (Reuters) - USD Partners LP has begun expansion work at one of Canada's largest crude by rail loading terminals, which will boost capacity at the facility by 50 percent and be completed by year end, the head of the company's Canada unit told Reuters. The expansion at Hardisty, Alberta, will increase loading capacity to three 120-car unit trains per day, or roughly 225,000 barrels, to meet strong demand from both producers and refinery customers amid pipeline bottlenecks,

It’s clear the demand is there. And it’s growing.

So don’t get me wrong, I love the idea of renewables, they just can’t replace oil at this point. Not ever really. The tech has to come from somewhere else.

Yep

Western Canada has outstripped pipeline capacity. Exports are expected to top 300,000 bpd by year-end and continue rising in 2019 as producers and railways sign transport deals

Demand generally means necessity, which generally means prosperity.

AA and GLG are unknowingly advocating that demand not be met.

I'll let you fellas figure out where this heavy oil is going.

I see he wrote that at 2am this morning. Makes sense.

Personally, I was sleeping like a baby because finally I see people coming round to the fact Progressives are out to lunch, on just about everything.

The alt right Trumpers hate Andersom Cooper like no other because he is gay, and he regularly runs intellectual circles around them, esp Trumps lying mouthpiece Huckabee-Sanders. Always reminds me of Rick Mercer getting her ignorant father to congratulate Canada on its National Igloo when he was governor of Arkansas.

While we are defending CNN’s integrity, the reason that the other reporter looked like he was fighting strong winds while two men stroll in the background was......”because the men were on concrete and he was grass”.

Oh and he was very tired.

Lol

Hey, I saw an article in WAPO about how Trump is complicit in the storm.

Since it was downgraded from a Cat 5 to a tropical depression, does that mean he gets credit for that too??

Ya, but not necessarily prosperity for the working stiffs. And jobs are also created thru the development of the alternative energy industry. And we will run out of readily available oil in some 40ish years or so. That should be of concern - and be discussed openly and frankly. That's called being responsible.

I am always amazed at some self-identified members of the alt-right. They often claim that they have or were raised with "Christian values" - yet appear to have no qualms in often telling falsehoods. Not the "Christian values" I was raised with.
You guys aren’t using the scientific method, this is now just a religion and tribal mentality.
Hello mirror!
... finally I see people coming round to the fact Progressives are out to lunch, on just about everything.
Remember the opposite to "progressive" is "regressive". Thanks for admitting that.

The point by point breakdown is impressive. Your putting a lot of effort to discredit me.

Seems that’s more of a commentary on conservatives rather than me.

Emotional high school stuff there AA.

BTW, the “progressive” mindset stacked up millions of corpses in the 20th century trying to reach utopia.

Just sayin...

Lot's of talk about climate, politics, Trump and now it is starting to get personal...as usual. You guys see a pattern to every one of these threads yet? Starts out about the pipeline and ends up being about left wing socialists frothing at the mouth and alt-right kool-aid drinking denial specialists....exaggeration intended. This one is done and don't bother starting another one as it will be gone immediately.
