Are we getting past labour day?

so how are the Halibut #’s? Are we going to make it past labour day? Should know by now or had a pretty good idea after July review?
Like last year they’ll probably make a surprise announcement. Hate to keep the public informed! Hope the new Minister conducts a review of his Department and clears out some of the high echelon dead wood.

Hali fishing in the straits of JDF was downright depressing this Spring. We got a grand total of 1 on my boat. Hoping to get a few offshore out of Barkley later this week before it closes.

I heard from Chris Bos (SVIAC) that as of last month we were tracking well and on target to make it to the end of the year!!

i like where this thread is going......
No halibut, don't even target them.....just stay home

I’ve gone 0 for 0 this year.mostly because I’m not experienced at anchoring and am anti-dying these days.
