Hi Guy's

So after spending the day trolling yesterday, I have realized that sitting on the transom steering the kicker sucks and I need to do something about it.

I want to avoid drilling any holes in the boat until I decide if I am going to pod the boat but I need a solution for kicker steering for now. I was looking on the web and found the T5 From Panther, I want to know are any of you using this product? If so does it work? is it fast/responsive enough to deal with trolling into the wind and through strong currents?

The other option is to go auto pilot but I don't know how what products are around.

I like the steering rod between main and kicker as the main acts as a rudder to aid steering when using the kicker. Helps in the wind.

I am pretty sure the steering arm won't work on my boat, I like rudder action of moving the main with the kicker, I also like driving from the steering wheel as I like to be able to correct for the wind and tide which I feel I won't be able to do with the panther remote but then again maybe one of you can comment on using it

I have the python unit as well. Second season with it. Works great - very responsive, almost too quick. Your adjustments have to be very quick. I have two wireless controllers so two people are able to control the kicker from anywhere on the boat.
