Back in the 1990’s I picked up a cd titled “ONE MILLION RECIPES FOR WINDOWS”. It was for use on Windows 3.1/95. and would also install on Macintosh. It had a quirk back then in that in order for it to work you needed to have a printer installed and working in Windows 95. It is an amazing data base and lately I was thinking about how to acquire old hardware and see if I can get it running again. I did a search and found what appears to be an updated version which will run on Windows 10. Think of it as having over 4000 paper cookbooks.

In addition I would like to also get this CD which has 33000 seafood recipes.

Anyone know where we could get copies locally (South VI)? If not, and any of you locally are also interested and do a lot of online ordering (I do not), perhaps we could order a number of copies collectively.

For anyone who loves to cook ONE MILLION RECIPES is a must have, and currently has for example, 7068 recipes for fish and 1884 recipes for wild game. It is searchable, you can add your own categories and recipes and download others into it. As I recall it contained recipes from some really obscure old ethnic cookbooks (in English) and other recipes you just can’t find on the net.
