Linking Sounder to phone or tablet.

I was wondering if maybe someone could help me out. I’m having an issue linking my Simrad to my phone.
I can hook up to my hotspot on my phone and my app links to my simrad but it won’t let me open it.
Has any one else had this issue with simrad or Lowrance?

I saw a few videos on youtube on linking the phone/tablet to the simrad that may help? I am new at this, so cannot offer a solution myself. I assume you want to access data from your phone through your hotspot ? I would be careful how much time I spent linked to the hotspot, I was away from home and used my hotspot to link my laptop to the internet and it burns through data quickly. I got some big bills from Telus. I was looking at the option to be able to access the simrad or lowrance units via bluetooth and view the screen on my tablet when not at the helm.

Does the sonar support wifi? Do you need a wifi adaptor?
Earlier models required a module, newer units are built in.
Whats the model?

It’s a Go9 the unit has everything built in.
