Once again, bite really turned on at sunset.

Yup late bite. Great battles with these Springs tonite. Even I got to play one! Caught at 40-50', one on bait and other pink hootchie.

Dragged from 1 pm to 7:30...started around the Bell and not much, then a few dogs, it was still lumpy. Then headed towards sandheads and things came to life around top of the tide, put a 14 spring in the box down that way and had lots of undersize action. Meat @ 40' with an oki plaid flasher. Missed a few more, some more undersize but all in all a great day.

Good bit on at sandheads boxed 3 in a hour !! All on bait!!

We ended up getting another after 5 or so unders.

Out at bell, 2 teens in cooler and 1 lost from 6am. If anyone saw the the excitement, dfo was checking us and we hooked/landed #2. Dfo was awesome and cheered us on haha. Checked barbs and left happy. Little choppy

Just arrived at sand heads. 1' chop, winds are nil.

Just boxed a low 20# red. Super shallow. Large anchovie, glow head. Generally slow. Haven't seen any nets out yet.

Fished for 2 hours at mile markers early afternoon. Only hit was a 14' red that also hit the box. Saw other boats playing fish at times so they are still around. Fish hit at 30'.

Fished west van on early flood, one spring just under, one 4lb hatchery coho, and one beauty spring lost at the boat... All in half an hour, then the debris floated in bad so we took off... Got checked by DFO- all good...

Fished Bell->N Arm from 2:30-5:15, one low teen right beside the Bell and several unders on long tack to the N Arm. Beauty day.

Fished Sandheads late morning into the afternoon. Lumpy at first and settled to get the lines down. Landed a beauty after a fair bit of chaos... Red 20 pounder on bait.

Ran out to T10 for a bit late this afternoon.......... no action.
Fished North Arm and bonked a 25 (white) and 12 on double header around 6 pm and a 10 half hour later.
The 25 took a skinny-g fished without flasher ....bottom rod.. @68 ft......bent the hook badly....jumped out of the net on first net attempt....lotsa fun
