area 14; is ling closed now

I started searching the fisheries notices for a ling closure in the Courtney to Cambell river stretch. supposed to have started july 15th. can someone point me to the correct notice?

Nothing on the DFO website. I see pacific cod/tomcod closed, but it states not lingcod (dated July 11). Last notice states it'll be open till Sept 30th, which it usually is. Where'd you hear about this closure?

Lingcod is not closed, there are some closures in Area 13 that did come into effect July 15. Discovery Passage has a gear restriction and Cape Mudge is a finfish closure, status quo for the rest. On the website.

If you're reading regulations from a smartphone (iPhone specifically) it's pretty easy to make sense of the regs in there. I'm not sure if the android version is ready yet, if not, they really need to get on with developing that. The app is called "FishingBC".
