Barn Floor Rebuild (Covid Related)

Recently replaced rotten sills, joists and flooring in the hay storage area of an old barn. This barn was converted from the original homestead house to serve as hay & straw storage.

So I decided to put a "time capsule" under the new floor to give the future property owners something to discover when the barn is dismantled in the far future. Yep, a one gallon bleach bottle.

Time capsule is under the lighter plywood panel. Have not nailed it down yet, still thinking of things to include. Hay delivery in three weeks. Any suggestions?

Good ideas guys. Full bottle of bear and a whisky are in.

Along with the can of Sockeye I will put in one of Charlie White's books. No one will know what Salmon fishing is about 25 years into the future.

A couple of mooching reels and a two piece rod.

Salmon jigs and a jigging rod.

A filet knife.

Maybe a Peetz and a Alvey.
