What about coal docks Twsawassen for coho? Used to catch lots out there. I wonder if point Roberts is open and if u can fish it if u don't land due to covid....hmmmm.
We are going to try our luck cap ambeleside area on Sunday.

seals are really stacked up at the sandheads , waiting for us in Sept already !!
Where there are seals there are lots of fish, more seals, more fish. Too many seals now, each one eats a lot.

In general, seals consume 4 percent to 6 percent of their body weight daily. The average male grey seal, sporting a dark gray coat with silvery spots, weighs approximately 880 pounds and requires 35 to 52 pounds of food daily

Sea lions even more

So that means there are lots of fish though :D

Anyone in West Van with a wind report? Thinking about taking the fam out for some crab and a jig. Jericho cam looks a little breezy. And hell did you know a wind sock actually measures the speed?!

Well back from my dangerous catch mission. Tried thrasher, inside porlier pass, south Bowen and fisheries. 1 hatch coho to show for the effort caught at fisheries (30ft white hootchie).
