Shimsno butterfly flat jigs
I’ve had great experience with catching Chinook and coho. Coho in late summer or early fall in the shallows, try to be there in first light and it always beats trolling. I’d do 4oz for Chinook in deeper water. Same pattern as the one in the video you posted.

Shimano Coltsnipers would be dynamite for this I bet. They're the most versatile jig I've ever used. Hugely popular on the sport boats in San Diego for everything that swims, top to bottom. 1.5 oz - 5 oz sizes I think.

Colours don't matter too much. Action on the fall and retrieve matter more, in combination with overall technique. This is a real drift jigging year. I lost a beaut right at the boat, guestimate it was pushing 30+. Broke a rod in battle with no fault of the rod itself. Stuff happens.
