Good luck.

We've found more halibut on the bottom troll than drifting.

Tides look a lot better for a few days.

Last fish we caught some had tiny fish in them, others had smallish herring 4-5"

Thanks for the report. Where were you finding the halibut?

Went up to Raphael yesterday, fishing was good. Hootchies worked better than spoons. Didn't run any bait

The last week has been as good as it gets. Chinooks on the Surfline.

Today after getting my guests their nice sized cohos in under an hour and trying unsuccessfully to find some Halibut we hit the hot spot where we hooked up steady for 3 hours on flat calm seas and 26c temps.

Going to miss days like that when I retire after this season

Is this mandatory retirement once you turn 85 :D:p

Good one buddy. Once I’m retired I’ll be able to sit on your reef with you once I get my protective gear
Well if we can fish next year you are welcome to come on the Heavy Hauler for an adventure, good luck with the rest of your season :)
