Hey guys, does anyone have any experiences with both of these boats?

I have narrowed my selection/search down to these two boats for towing friendliness with my 1/2 tonne eco-diesel pickup.

I believe either would be a great choice, just digging into the nuts and bolts now as to which is better built, always resale consideration and sea-worthyness/safety.

I am looking to do a total gut out and redo which will be pod'ed.

Double Eagle 206 IO Model
LOA - 20'2"
BEAM - 8'2"
Dry Weight - 3800lbs/IO included
Max HP - 250hp/IO
Dead Rise - 20 degrees

Hourston 20
LOA - ?
Beam - 8'2"
Dry Weight - ?
Max HP - ?
Dead Rise - 23 degrees

Purely from a styling point of view the Hourston is a better looking boat in that size IMO. I wouldn't do a bulkhead/door in that size. I would do 2 swivel seats and storage under them. I would also remove the top and level the floor and go with a soft top and drop curtain. Both are great boat builders

This is the specs that I have on a newer 20Ft Double Eagle. I would think a older one would be a bit heavier.

LOA 20'2"/6.15M
Beam 8'2"/2.5M
Fuel Capacity 60 U.S. gal/240L
Weight 2650lbs/1200kg
Max. H.P. 225 O/B
Deadrise 20 deg. (at transom)
Transom Height 25”
