Stayed in the gulf islands this weekend. Thrasher was going off yesterday am offshore. Had 6 in the boat by 9:30 with multiple other hookups. 110-180. Hid from the midday wind then was out for the evening tide but the whales went by and seemed to clear out the fish. Went back out for a quick one this am on the way back and got two more down deep 180-200. Spoons and hootchies were working

There were a few p cod around

Nice work, boys I got to spend the last 2 days fighting a power steering pump, bracket and now a new alternator. If anyone wants to buy a Volvo 320 hp gxi with a new dp leg in 2016 this **** is coming out in the fall. Meanwhile hope to push off early this week finally!

Exact same setup I took out in favor of pod and outboard. No regrets what so ever.

20 hits 18 to the boat released all the small fellas nice and safe in the water.. kept a couple of keepers
sure was dark and crappy early on am.... but the sun and the tide change later on brought the bite back on in the afternoon
several double headers made it fun going solo running 4 ... out in the middle off R.C.

Taking boat up to Sechelt for the long weekend, any advice on spots to troll up that way? Have only ever had the boat up there once and trolled the south end of Trail Islands with some success but would like to try some new grounds. Cheers in advance!

Was out in the slop on Saturday. Lots of action north of Cowan. Put 2 in the box and bagged a 3 man limit of prawns. Also did a tack on the way home at the bell and hit a 20lb fish and got Sealed! White glow hoochie and blue splatter back hoochie worked for us.

Ended up picking up a slab mid south bowen in 450'. 100' on an old rusty 4" cop car. So if we're counting ALL the fish it was probably 15. Really there were only the 2 keepers and about three others that were very close. The others shouldn't even be mentioned lol. Resized_20190416_120547.jpeg
